We have received commitments from donors with restricted funds to be used only for the training of talented dancers between the ages of 14 and 19. Quality American dance training to prepare students of dance for their future. Training will begin the first week of November 2024, and at no cost to students, auditions will be required, please register below.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming premiere of Whispers of the Forest, a new composition by world-renowned composer Anna Segal. This captivating work will be brought to life through the choreography of our own Gladisa Guadalupe.
Segal, a versatile composer whose music has been performed internationally, is returning to Cleveland to share her latest creation with the city’s audiences. Her unique and enchanting melodies have captivated audiences around the globe, and Whispers of the Forest promises to be another unforgettable experience.
“From the very first time I came across Anna Segal’s compositions, I found myself immersed in a mystic world,” said Gladisa Guadalupe, the choreographer for Whispers of the Forest. “I was drawn to her unique and enchanting melodies. This composition will be the canvas to my choreography, bringing to the stage a mystical, captivating and charming story that takes place in the wonders of the forest.”

Gladisa Guadalupe and her school are a true gift to Cleveland. There is no better place to receive a well-rounded and professional dance education in this city. As a now grown student and previous dancer under Mrs. Guadalupe, I was excited to be able to send my daughter to her school for a world-class dance curriculum. My ballet education allowed me to dance anywhere in the world and be recognized for having excellent technique and training. When we began our family’s relationship with the Cleveland Ballet Theatre (Cleveland School of Dance at the time), Ms. Guadalupe informed us of her philosophy for beginning the school. She had enjoyed a very long and successful career as a professional ballerina and she knew her job going forward was to give back to her students what she had been blessed to receive. She definitely did that for our daughter Victoria Watford. Our daughter trained and performed at the school for 10 years and upon graduation from high school, due to the talent she developed there, immediately began her professional ballet career. She has now performed on stage and in various commercial pieces for 10 seasons. We are so thankful for all that the Cleveland Ballet Theatre poured into our daughter over those early years and we are very excited to see the school continue to train future ballet professionals who will bring great ballet performances to audience for years to come.
